Biometra´s geldryers, highly appreciated for their durability, very quiet operation and reliability, are for drying vertical slab gels and provide optimal drying for all types of gels.
Mididry D62 is the geldryer of choice for laboratories that dry several gels at once. The drying surface is 30 x 40 cm. This standard size allows drying of up to 8 Minigels or 2 Multigel-Long or 2 Maxigel resp. Model V15.17 gels at a time.
The gels are heated from below and the vacuum removes the moisture from below to dry the gel homogeneously. When applying the vacuum a groove that frames the drying surface provides an optimum tight seal during the drying period. All gel dryers are equipped with a timer.
