Biometra´s geldryers, highly appreciated for their durability, very quiet operation and reliability, are for drying vertical slab gels and provide optimal drying for all types of gels.
For drying of large sequencing gels or multiple large gels laboratories are recommended to use the Maxidry, with a drying surface of 40 x 60 cm.
The gels are heated from below and the vacuum removes the moisture from below to dry the gel homogeneously. When applying the vacuum a groove that frames the drying surface provides an optimum tight seal during the drying period. All gel dryers are equipped with a timer.
